Parking: MVM Dome has paid parking. Alternatively, use P+R parking at Népliget or Kelenföldi. Vignette: Hungary requires an e-vignette for highways. Buy online at ematrica.hu before crossing the border (10 days: ~3,500 Ft).

Our recommendation

Best value: FlixBus or RegioJet from neighboring countries (Vienna, Bratislava, Prague). Cheap, comfortable, and the Népliget bus station is right next to MVM Dome. Most comfortable: Train from Vienna or Bratislava — fast, scenic, and central arrival. Best for groups: Drive together and split fuel costs. A car from Prague is ~€40 in fuel one-way.
