How to get to MVM Dome Budapest
MVM Dome is located at Üllői út 133-135, 1091 Budapest, in the IX district. Whether you're coming from the city center, the suburbs, or the airport, there's a convenient way to get there for the Alphaville concert on October 30.
M3 Metro — The fastest option
The M3 metro (blue line) is the most convenient way to reach MVM Dome. Get off at Népliget station — the arena is just a 5-minute walk away. Follow the signs (and the crowd on concert nights).
Key M3 stops:- Deák Ferenc tér (city center) → Népliget: ~10 minutes
- Ferenciek tere → Népliget: ~8 minutes
- Kálvin tér → Népliget: ~6 minutes
The M3 runs frequently until approximately 23:30, so you'll have no trouble getting back to the city center after the concert.
BKK buses
Several bus lines stop near MVM Dome:
- Bus 103: Stops at Üllői út/Könyves Kálmán körút, directly in front of the arena
- Bus 153E: Express bus on the same route — fewer stops, faster journey
- Night buses: After midnight, night bus services operate along Üllői út
The bus stop is literally at the arena's doorstep — you can see the building from the stop.
Tram lines
Tram 1 and 1A run along Könyves Kálmán körút, stopping approximately 8 minutes' walk from MVM Dome. Trams are a good option if you're coming from the Buda side via the Petőfi Bridge area.
Taxi
A taxi from the city center to MVM Dome typically costs 3,000-5,000 Ft depending on traffic and your exact starting point. On concert nights, expect slightly higher demand.
Tips for taxis:- Use Bolt or Uber for transparent pricing — no surprises
- Order your ride 15-20 minutes before you want to leave
- After the concert, walk 2-3 blocks away from the arena before ordering — surge pricing drops quickly with distance

Driving and parking

- Street parking in IX district: Metered until 20:00 on weekdays, free after. Check signs carefully
- Shopping center parking: Nearby Lurdy Ház offers paid parking, about 10 minutes' walk
From Budapest Airport (BUD)
If you're flying in for the concert, here's how to get to MVM Dome from the airport:

BKK tickets and passes
If you're visiting Budapest for the concert, consider buying a 24-hour BKK pass (2,500 Ft) or a 72-hour pass (5,500 Ft) — unlimited travel on all metro, bus, tram, and trolleybus lines. Single tickets cost 530 Ft each and must be validated before boarding.
