Outdoor concert packing list
An outdoor concert is an unforgettable experience — if you come prepared. Here's the complete list.
Must-haves
- Ticket (digital or printed) + ID
- Phone + power bank
- Cash (not everywhere accepts cards)
- Rain jacket or light windbreaker — summer evenings can be surprisingly cool
- Comfortable shoes — you'll be standing for hours!
- Earplugs — for hearing protection (see our dedicated article)
Nice-to-haves
- Small backpack — keep your hands free
- Sunscreen — if you arrive in the early evening
- Light-up bracelet — easier to find your group
- Empty water bottle (fill it on-site)
Leave at home
- Professional cameras (most venues prohibit them)
- Large bags
- Valuables you'd hate to lose
- Own food/drinks (most venues don't allow them)
What to wear
Layer up! It's warm during the day but can cool down at night. Comfort comes first — this is a concert, not a fashion show.
The most important tip
Set a meeting point with your group beforehand — calling in a crowd is hard, and the network may be overloaded.
